Thou Shalt Prosper

Author of "Thou Shalt Prosper" Rabbi Daniel Lapin

A Book Review by Carolyn North, CEO, Founder of WealthPreneurs, Inc.

I can't quite remember how I came across this book, but I am so glad I did! I love to read, however reading "Thou Shall Prosper" was an absolute pleasure. It really helped me to make that mind and behavior shift to a place that is more wealth productive at a crucial time in my life.

Not realizing it, many people came up in an environment that was contrary to wealth . When the principles of wealth are not taught, practiced or even understood, then wealth and abundance may evade one's efforts and cause frustration, strife and anxiety. This book, "Thou Shall Prosper" helps to overcome that adversity by teaching the reader the true principles of wealth based on Jewish Torah teachings, to incorporate in their life, attitude, and overall thoughts toward humankind. It offers a whole new way of seeing things and is quite refreshing I must say.

The 10 Commandments for Making Money are very simple principles to understand. So simple it makes one wonder why they never stood out in their minds before reading this book. It's easy and smooth reading feeds the soul with the spiritual food of life, to help one understand where they were lacking to attract wealth. Learning how to please God is the key but not so readily understood by most people. Rabbi Daniel Lapin makes it simple to understand that a child could get on course to wealth.

An example of Rabbi Daniel Lapin's matter of fact, easy to understand dialogue regarding money can be seen in his statement "Money is a measure of what one human being does for another." Understanding wealth in these terms makes one realize that money is a reward for service that we give to one another. Service is the outpouring of love and can be seen as a virtue that illustrates God's Grace to humankind when done unconditionally. Helping one another experience the good things of life is a priceless gift that God rewards openly which may be expressed as money, among many other wonderful blessings. This can be understood in the following scripture: "Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. ... in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly. ... When we take least notice of our good deeds ourselves," Mark 6:4.

I strongly recommend reading this book. Rabbi Lapin says that many people who read the book "Thou Shalt Prosper" and incorporated the principles into their lives, experienced a change in a year or more. I can't wait for that change to happen in my life too. Get your copy, read it and then thank me in the comment section below!
